CPT(P) Edmundo B. Nicolas Jr

CPT Ed Nicolas is an Adjutant General Corps officer branched-detailed Infantry who served with combat units out of Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, and Ansbach, Germany. CPT Nicolas is a human geographer with research interests in political ecology, environmental justice, and community resilience. He is interested in how individuals and communities respond to global climate change and their capabilities for adaptation and transformation. His graduate research focused on disaster response and adaptation strategies of the Armed Forces of the Philippines to climatic disasters in Manila.
