Major Matthew Fiorelli is an Instructor of American Politics in the Department of Social Sciences at the United States Military Academy at West Point. Matt previously served with the 101st Combat Aviation Brigade where he commanded an attack helicopter company. MAJ Fiorelli deployed to Afghanistan in 2018-2019 and Europe in 2020. Matt graduated from West Point in 2014, where he majored in American Politics and French. He also holds a Master in Public Affairs degree from Princeton, where he served as a graduate fellow at the James Madison Program in American Ideals and Institutions. His research focuses on American foreign policy and national security. Matt and his wife, Andrea, have five children.
