
Dr. Ahmed Bahabry is an assistant professor in the Department of Systems Engineering at the United States Military Academy (USMA). Before joining USMA, he was engaged in research at Stevens Institute of Technology and involved in academic and industry research projects.
He pursued his graduate studies at Stevens Institute of Technology, earning his master's degree in engineering and Ph.D. in systems engineering from the School of Systems and Enterprises (SSE). He was appointed as a teaching assistant and served as the Software Engineering lab manager while supporting undergraduate students' projects. Dr. Bahabry was awarded the Leadership Award from Stevens. He earned graduate certificates in systems-centric software engineering, systems supportability engineering, and engineering management.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering with a minor in polymer science and engineering from Michigan Technological University. He was awarded the Rockie Award for exemplary service above and beyond the call of duty for his work in the Consumer Product Manufacturing Enterprise projects.
Dr. Bahabry's research interests include smart cities, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), energy, and optimization.
