LTC Alex Kedrowitsch graduated from the Pennsylvania State University in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science.  He holds a Certificate of Graduate Studies in Space Studies from the American Military University and Master's and Ph.D. degrees from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Computer Science and Applications.  LTC Kedrowitsch enlisted in the Army in 2005 and commissioned from Officer Candidate School in 2006 as a Signal Officer.  His assignments include Joint Network Node and Division Hub Platoon Leader in A Company, Division Special Troops Battalion; Battalion S6, 1st Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas; Network Operations Officer, Division G6; Company Commander, 206th Signal Company and Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 188th Brigade Support Battalion, 18th Fires Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division; Detachment S6 in A Company, 6th Battalion, 1st Special Warfare Training Group, U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School, Fort Bragg, North Carolina; and Brigade S6 & Observer, Coach/Trainer for 188th Infantry Brigade, Division East, 1st Army, Fort Stewart, Georgia.  During these assignments, LTC Kedrowitsch deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from December 2006 to December 2007 and from December 2008 to December 2009; and deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom from August 2011 to February 2012.  LTC Kedrowitsch served as an Instructor and Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, USMA, West Point, NY from 2017 to 2020, where he taught Introduction to Computing and Information Technology, Network Engineering and Management, and Operating Systems; and Course Directed Database Systems and Computer Organization.  LTC Kedrowitsch also advised the Black Knight CubeSat Senior Capstone Design Project and was the assistant Officer in Charge of the Academy Amateur Radio Club.  LTC Kedrowitsch is married to Melissa Kedrowitsch and is the proud parent of two daughters
