CPT Austin Semmel

Captain Austin Dennis Semmel commissioned from the United States Military Academy in 2015 as a Finance Officer and now serves as an Operations Research and Systems Analyst. He holds a Master’s degree in Statistics (2019) and a Master’s degree in Operations Research (2024), both from NC State University. His hobbies include trail running, playing the guitar and ukulele, and he became a certified sommelier in 2023. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Operations Research from NC State University.
