CPT Carl Springfels

CPT Springfels first joined the Army in 2008 as an enlisted Soldier. After returning from Afghanistan, he attended Florida Southern College where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accounting and commissioned from ROTC as a Logistics Officer. He served as an Operations Officer and a Team Chief in the Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command before serving overseas as a Liaison Officer to the Romanian National Movement Control Center and then as a Brigade Adjutant in the 7th Transportation Brigade. Upon completing the Logistics Captain's Career Course, CPT Springfels served as 16th Sustainment Brigade staff officer in support of Operation Allies Refuge and then as a Company Commander in the 39th Transportation Battalion with missions across multiple countries in Europe and Africa. After completing company command, CPT Springfels earned a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from the Naval Postgraduate School. He currently serves as an instructor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences.
