MAJ Alexander Bates

MAJ Alexander Bates graduated with a Bachelor of Science in operations research from West Point in 2014 and was commissioned as an Aviation Officer. After commissioning, he branch transferred to Quartermaster and served as a Distribution Platoon Leader, Maintenance Control Officer, Battalion S4, and Company Executive Officer in 2-87 IN BN, 10th MTN DIV. After completing LGCCC, he served as a Battalion S-3 and Forward Support Company Commander in the 82nd ABN DIV. 

After completing graduate school at North Carolina State University in 2023, he now teaches in the Department of Mathematical Sciences' advanced math program at West Point.
