Major Eric V. Muirhead is an Assistant Professor at the United States Military Academy at West Point. He has taught courses in Asian Warfare and Politics, Regional Studies in East Asia, and the History of the United States Army. He is an Armor Officer with operational deployments to Afghanistan and the Republic of Korea. His research interests include German and Japanese military culture in World War II, the philosophy of Asian martial arts, as well as Early Modern China and Japan.
