
MAJ Felix Camacho was born in Gettysburg, PA. He earned a BIS in international relations and conflict management with a minor in leadership from George Mason University in 2016. He earned an MPS in political management in 2019 and an MA in history in 2025, both from George Washington University.
MAJ Camacho branched Air Defense Artillery in 2016. His first assignment was as a Platoon Leader/Tactical Control Officer, Fort Bliss, TX, and later South Korea. He next served as an Assistant Operations Officer and Company Executive Officer for Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 4th Battalion, 3d U.S Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard), Fort Myer, VA. MAJ Camacho attended Air Defense Captain's Career Course in 2020. His next assignment was with 32d Army Air and Missile Defense Command, Fort Bliss, and later Qatar, where he served as a DPICC OIC, Air Defense Operations Officer, and Upper-Tier Air Defense Artillery Fire Control Officer.
Prior to assuming duties as an Instructor in the American History Division at USMA, MAJ Camacho served as Battery Commander of A-4 ADA (THAAD), Fort Bliss. His deployments and overseas tours include Afghanistan, Kuwait, South Korea, and Qatar.
