Prof. Greta Bucher, Ph.D. Professor of History History & War Studies greta.bucher [at] westpoint.edu About Education Professor Greta Bucher joined the History & War Studies Department in 1995. She holds a BA from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX, and an M.A. and a Ph.D. from The Ohio State University. She teaches Russian history and European history. She has published two books, Women, the Bureaucracy and Daily Life in Postwar Moscow, 1945-1953, and Daily Life in Imperial Russia, as well as articles outlets like The Russian Review. She has served as president of the New York Association of European Historians and is on the editorial board of the journal Teaching History.
