CPT Jeffrey Schwicht was born in North Pole, Alaska and has been a lifelong Alaska resident. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a BS in Civil Engineering and commissioned as an Engineer 2LT in April 2017. After commissioning, he attended Engineer Basic Officer Course at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.
CPT Schwicht's service positions include: Platoon Leader in 615th Engineer Construction Company, 4th Engineer Battalion, Fort Carson, CO. Assistant S3, 4th Engineer Battalion, Fort Carson, CO. Geospatial Technical Lead, South Pacific Border District, Phoenix, AZ. Engineer Basic Officer Leader Course Project Management Instructor, USAES, Fort Leonard Wood, MO. Commander of Charlie Company, 31st Engineer Battalion, Fort Leonard Wood, MO. CPT Schwicht's military training includes Combatives Lvl 1 and 2, Common faculty Development - Instructor Course, Unit Movement Officer Course, Engineer Basic Officer Course, and the Engineer Captain's Career Course.
He holds a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from Missouri Science and Technology in Rolla. His awards and decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal (2 OLC), the National Defense Service Ribbon, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Norwegian Foot March Badge (Bronze), and the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge (Silver).
CPT Schwicht is married to his wife of nine years ,Chaplain Marissa Schwicht nee Potter (MDiv, Amridge, '25), with whom he has four children.
