Dr. Jesse Germain is originally from Long Island, New York. A 1987 graduate of West Point, Dr. Germain returned to DPE in 1996 as a rotating military instructor and then again in 2004 as an Academy Professor. After almost three decades in uniform, he retired from the Army in 2015 and took a position as the Director of Kinesiology and Professor of Sport Leadership. Jesse is married to Kate and has a daughter, Darby, and sons David, Christopher, and John.
