John A. Vigna is an assistant professor of History and Economics at the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York where he teaches courses in Military, Economic, and American History, and American Politics, in the Departments of Social Sciences and History. He is also a program manager in the Army’s Office of Economic and Manpower Analysis (OEMA) and is actively involved in several Department of the Army-level talent management programs and initiatives to include the Career Satisfaction Program, Talent-Based Branching, AIM2, and IPPS-A. Additionally, he is an Officer Representative for the Men’s Soccer Team and conducts West Point tours for Department of Social Sciences events and VIPs.

John is from Roxbury, New York and graduated West Point in 1988. He served nearly 24 years as an Engineer Officer with assignments in a variety of unit-types and locations.
