CPT Joshua Holloman was born in Du Page, IL, but lived most of his life in Colorado Springs, CO. His educational background includes a Master of Science in curriculum and instruction from Fordham University; Bachelor of Arts in history from New Mexico State University; and Associate of Arts from New Mexico Military Institute. He enlisted in the New Mexico National guard as in 2010 and commissioned from the ROTC program in 2014.
He is married to Kaysha Holloman of almost 10 years. Previous assignments include Platoon Leader and Executive Officer at Fort Cavazos, TX, from 2015-17 in 1st Squadron 3rd Cavalry Regiment; Squadron S6 from 2018-19 at Fort Bliss, TX, in 2-13 CAV, 3rd Brigade 1st Armor Division; Signal Company Command from 2019-21 at Fort Bliss in 2nd Brigade Engineer Battalion, 3rd Brigade 1st Armor Division.
