CPT Julia Frassetto is from Daytona Beach, FL. She graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2012 with a Bachelors of Science in Air Traffic Management. In 2015 she earned her Masters in Business Administration while completing her two-year ROTC scholarship.

After commissioning as a Second Lieutenant in Aviation, CPT Frassetto attended the Aviation Basic Officers Leadership Course at Ft. Novosel, AL where she qualified as a UH-60M pilot. Upon graduation, she was assigned to the 1st Air Cavalry Brigade in Ft. Cavazos, TX where she served as an Assistant Operations Officer (AS3) and then Platoon Leader in D Co, 2-227 General Support Aviation Battalion. In 2017 she deployed to EUCOM in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve and served as a Platoon Leader in A Co, 2-227 GSAB.

In 2020, CPT Frassetto completed the Aviation Captain’s Career Course and was assigned to Ft. Bragg where she served as the Executive Assistant to the Brigade Commander in the 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade before taking command of F Co, 3-82 GSAB.

In 2023, CPT Frassetto was selected to attend the Eisenhower Leadership Development Program at West Point, NY earning a Master’s Degree in Social Organizational Psychology from Columbia University. While assigned to USMA, she served one year as a Company Tactical Officer for A Co, 3rd Regiment prior to assignment as the United States Military Academy Preparatory School as a Company Tactical Officer. 

Her awards and decorations include the Meritorious Service Meda, Army Accommodation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, the Army Service Ribbon, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and the National Defense Service Medal.
