Captain Kathryn Dula is commissioned as a Quartermaster Officer and is now an ORSA. She is an Instructor in the Department of Systems Engineering. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Mathematical Science from the United States Military Academy and a Master of Information Systems Management - Business Intelligence and Data Analytics with honors from Carnegie Mellon University. CPT Dula commissioned in 2018 and was first assigned as a Distribution Platoon Leader at Fort Carson, Colorado. She then was selected as past of the first cohort of Artificial Intelligence Scholars and began her graduate education as a first lieutenant after completing company XO time. She served her utilization tour with Future Command's Artificial Intelligence Integration Center (AI2C). There she helped modernize the data infrastructure for U.S. Recruiting Command (USAREC) and Army Human Resources Command. While working at AI2C she applied to become an ORSA and was accepted. She then worked in the USAREC Innovation Cell. There she evaluated experiments run by industry partners to help Army leaders understand if they were effective and worth pursuing to improve the Army recruiting enterprise. CPT Dula most recently joined the Systems Team in July 2025 as an Instructor in the Department of Systems Engineering at the United States Military Academy at West Point where she is teaching statistics and introductory programming courses. CPT Dula and her husband, CPT Kyle Dotterrer, have one son and a cat: Allister & Stella.
