Dr. Khalaeb Richardson, originally from Spring Hope, NC, is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the United States Military Academy.  Dr. Richardson's current works focuses on the role of cognitive workload and trust in human autonomy teams (HAT). Khalaeb holds a Ph.D. and B.S. from North Carolina State University. With a background in cognitive ergonomics, Dr. Richardson’s research focuses on optimizing human-system interactions, particularly through the assessment of cognitive workload and the investigation of mixed reality systems. Recognized by the North Carolina Space Grant and awarded a Provost’s Fellowship, Dr. Richardson has also published extensively in conferences such as the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society, presenting innovative findings on workload management and cognitive aids for high-stakes environments.
