
CPT Quinn Dilley is an Instructor of American Politics in the Department of Social Sciences at the United States Military Academy in West Point. He is a Civil Affairs Officer with operational experience supporting U.S. Naval Forces Central Command’s strategic objectives across 7 countries in the Middle East and Africa. Previously, he served in the 2nd Cavalry Regiment as a reconnaissance platoon leader and troop executive officer, supporting NATO deterrence operations and multinational training missions in Eastern Europe.
Quinn holds a Master of Public Policy from Duke University’s Sanford School of Public Policy, where his research focused on civil-military relations, defense information-sharing practices, and the role of security cooperation in advancing U.S. strategic objectives. He earned his bachelor’s degrees in political science and international relations from Indiana University - Indianapolis and commissioned as an Armor officer in 2015.
He is married to his wonderful wife Hannah, and they have two children.
