Dr. Rachel Yon is an associate professor in the Department of Social Sciences and executive officer in the Combating Terrorism Center at the United States Military Academy. She currently runs the center’s multimillion-dollar budget and teaches classes in the Combating Terrorism Center’s Terrorism Minor and the American Politics stem of the Department of Social Sciences.

Research Interests
Homeland Security and Defense, rights, liberties, and the American citizen; diversity and inclusion studies; race, gender, and sexuality and the American sociopolitical sphere; women’s roles in terrorist organizations; and impact that differential treatment (with regard to race, gender, and sexuality) has on the outcome of judicial sentences
