LTC Ryan Rodriguez, Ph.D.

Lieutenant Colonel Rodriguez is an assistant professor teaching biology in the Department of Chemical & Biological Science & Engineering. After earning a B.S. in chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in 2005, he completed basic combat training and was commissioned as an engineer officer through Officer Candidacy School at Ft. Benning, GA, in 2006. He has proudly served in the Engineer Regiment leading combat and construction engineers during operational deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan and fulfilling Project Management roles for 3rd Special Forces Group and NATO Allied Land Command in Türkiye.
