He soon met Sharon, an Army officer, and added Army spouse to his list of titles. He has a lifelong interest in military history and was introduced to wargaming at a young age by his Uncle who flew helicopters in Vietnam. He shares that interest with cadets as the officer-in-charge of the Cadet Wargames Club for thirty years.
