He is a member of the USMA Class of 2015 where he majored in military history. He commissioned as an Armor officer and has served in the 9th 10th and 15th U.S. Cavalry Regiments. Stuart earned an MA in U.S. history from the University of Tennessee in 2025 and now serves as a history instructor at the U.S. Military Academy.
