LTC Tim Donohue is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and a 2008 graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. He also holds a Master of Science in Defense Analysis (Irregular Warfare) from the Naval Postgraduate School. As an Infantry officer, Tim served with the 3rd Stryker Brigade Combat Team at JBLM, WA where he served as a Platoon Leader, Executive Officer, and Battalion Assistant Operations Officer. As a Special Forces officer, he served in 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) as a Detachment Commander and Company Executive Officer before serving with USASOC's Special Operations Training Detachment (SOTD) at both the National Training Center and Joint Readiness Training Center as an Observer-Coach-Trainer and Battalion Assistant Operations Officer. Tim returned to 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) to serve in multiple Company Commands and as a Battalion Executive Officer. Tim most recently served with the Defense Threat Reduction Agency as an Operations Officer supporting SOCOM and Combatant Command global requirements. Throughout his assignments Tim deployed multiple times in support of CENTCOM and INDOPACOM operations, activities, and investments. Tim and his wife, Laura, have two wonderful daughters, Hailey and Emily.
