
LTC Timothy Walsh

LTC Walsh commissioned as an Aviation officer in 2008 and transferred to the Data Systems Engineering functional area in 2016. His assignments have included: Platoon Leader and Logistics Officer, 2-82nd Aviation Regiment; Plans Officer, Eighth Army Headquarters; Instructor, 1-145th Aviation Regiment; Commander of A Company, 1-13th Aviation Regiment; and Senior Information Systems Officer, Army Pacific Headquarters. He has deployed once to combat for Operation Enduring Freedom and flown 650 hours in the UH-60 Black Hawk and Bell 206 helicopters, including 480 hours in combat and 200 hours at night. He is a Distinguished Military Graduate of ROTC, Distinguished Honor Graduate of Flight School XXI, graduate of the Aviation Captains Career Course, Honor Graduate of the Command and General Staff Officer Course, and Distinguished Honor Graduate of the Information Systems Engineering Course. He has a BA, MS, and PhD in computer science from Boston University, Georgetown University, and the Naval Postgraduate School, respectively.
