Majors PaNE offers three majors: Nuclear Engineering, Physics, and Space Science. Middle and High School STEM Camps High School Students' Summer Leaders Experience (SLE) COL Peter Chapman Professor & Department Head COL Chapman served as a United States Military Academy instructor and course director in the introductory physics course from 2010-14. He returned to West Point in 2018 as an academy professor and served as the core physics program director in 2019 before being selected as the deputy head in 2020 and the department head in 2024.
