LTC Bob Walters is an Army Reserve Officer and Assistant Professor of Aerospace Engineering in the Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at the United States Military Academy.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from West Point (2007).  He earned a Master of Science (2018) and a Ph.D. (2022) in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.  He is an Army Aviator and he has flown the LUH-72A and the UH-60A/A+/L/M.  He works full time as a government service aerospace engineer for the US Navy’s Naval Air Warfare Center – Aircraft Division (NAWC-AD) at Patuxent River Naval Air Station.
