LTC Scott Harris graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Arabic. He was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the Infantry branch in 2007. LTC Harris served with the 101st Airborne Division at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky where he deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. He was selected as a Psychological Operations Officer in 2012 where he served with Special Operations Command -Forward in Yemen and detailed as a planner at the State Department Headquarters. In the spring of 2015, he was selected as a Foreign Area Officer where he served in Muscat, Oman and at Central Command Headquarters in Tampa, Florida. He holds a master’s degree in international policy and practice from the George Washington University (2020). He lives here at West Point with his wife Conchita, a labor and delivery nurse, and his children Gabriel, Mariam, and Margaret.
