What Can I Expect from Studying Portuguese at West Point?

Portuguese language majors will follow a track of courses designed to develop their Portuguese language proficiency and cultural understanding.

Cadets can choose to be a Portuguese language major or combine Portuguese and another language for a dual language major. Each of these options can be taken as an honors program. Language majors also work well as part of a double major with another department.

Majors: Portuguese, Portuguese with Honors, Dual Language (Portuguese and a second language of your choice), Foreign Area Studies (Africa, Europe, Latin America)
